The Bear by Scar Blades | Test and Reveiw

I got a hold of the Bear, by Scar Blades. I thought I loved my BK2, but this blade is so elegant, with an amazing balance between rugged and sleek, I’m just now realizing what love is. While I think there is no perfect blade out there, this is sure coming close.

The Bear is made of 1095 high carbon steel, with a 4.5″ blade, 3/16″ thick. Coming in at 10.5″ overall, and weighing about 12.7 oz, it offers micarta handles and a custom kydex sheath standard, with options for varied color coatings, a fire steal holder on the sheath, and even custom engraving. While it’s not the cheapest knife, it’s definitely not the most expensive and, in my opinion, worth every penny.
